Dit is al hoe ek my week sover kan beskryf.
Maandag het sleg begin, Dinsdag nie veel beter gegaan nie, vandag was nog erger (as Dinsdag), en dit het nog erger geword vanaand.
Ek kry daai gevoel dat die week net al hoe slegter word hoe langer dit aanhou ? Ek het een van daai weke vir my.
Wat my uitstress op die oomblik is dat Fran se ma in n hospitaal opgeneem is, die ou tanna se tikker werk nie so lekker nie. Nou is Fran uitgestress, wat my moerig maak. Ek het haar gese om more oggend op n vlug te spring SA toe, maar sy kan nie n besluit maak nie. Moet sy gaan, of moet sy wag en kyk wat gebeur. As dit van my afhang, sit ek haar op die vleigtuig more oggend, en stuur haar vir n week SA toe. Nie dat sy veel sal kan doen nie, maar tenminste sal dit haar meer rustiger maak as sy by haar ma is.
So wat nou, om alles kroon is dit Anja se verjaarsdag ook nog more - en sy was ook in trane gewees toe Fran die oproep kry dat Fran se ma in die hospitaal is. So daar sit ek tussen 2 vrouens wat huil. Sal more iets spesiaal moet doen, sodat Anja n moerse dag het.
As jy die blog lees, doen my n guns, en stuur vir Anja n email (na johan(by)devries-inter.net), en wens haar geluk met haar verjaarsdag.
En dit is dit vir vanaand. Gaan nou n paar uur se slaap inkry, en kyk wat gebeur more.

Stel iemand belang om saam met my die naweek (Vrydag-aand, Saterdag of Sondag-middag) n Potgooi op te neem ?
Ons kan dit oor Skype doen. Jy hoef niks te doen nie, ek record alles van my kant af, en sit dit dan op die internet. Al wat jy hoef te doen is om saam te gesels. Daar is niks om voor bang te wees nie, dis dood eenvoudig n gesprek tussen 2 mense, wat record opgeneem word.
Grootste probleem wat mense het, is om na jou eie stem terug te luister - want jy dink jou stem klink heeltemal anders as wat jy dit voorstel.
So as jy belangstel om die naweek saam met my n Potgooi te maak, los n comment kommentaar hier, of stuur my n email, en dan reel ons n tyd om n episode op te neem.
Anja se drade
Anja het vandag haar drade in haar mond gekry - net aan die onderkant. Die boonste drade kom glo die 17de Desember. Die mond is baie seer op die oomblik, sal maar sien hoe gaan dit vorentoe

Dit is baie aangenaam om te hoor daar is nog n potgooi uit op die internet. Hoe lyk dit wie gaan volgende n potgooi maak ? Dis regtig nie moeilik nie, die moeilikste besluit is om te besluit of jy eengaan maak !!
Ek sit en kyk die blog vanaand so, en sien dat meer as 90% van die inskrywings in Engels is.
So ek gaan van vandag af net in afrikaans blog (Is daar n afrikaanse woord vir blog ?) tot en met Desember toe. Ek kan net sowel, aangesien ek die potgooi in afrikaans doen, so kan net sowel die blog in afrikaans doen. (Ek praat genoeg Engels deur die dag, so het n bietjie afleidng nodig, net om te relax ontspan.

Why are we (the rest of the world) so intrigued by what is happening in the US ?
Truth be told, it is of no relevance to me who is the president / what they do in the elections, what they don’t do. The problem is that now the American Economy is taking a dive, it is effecting the rest of the world …. just shows you how much there is a interweaving of the economics between the countries. Much more than we think, or care to admit.
To me, it is more important what is happening with our own politics (in the UK), our own economy (in the UK), our own local government, our own council, they mayor of London - how they are fucking things up, or is working to make things better ? !
Brown pulling Mandy back into Government today (AGAIN for the third time), Boris and the Met Commissioner - Ian Blair - I hope Boris know what he is doing, and not trying to score some political points at our expense.
One thing I think we should all realise, and that is that all politicians are a bunch of bullshitters ! Would Cameron be better that Brown ? Will a new Government make any changes for the better ? Think not, same old shit all of the time, just a different spin on it.
Think that is what the last line in H.G.G movie, but anyway ….

Went for an extended lunch today at work, had a few pints. Did not feel like going back to work, but had to. Got home tonight, and we just decided to get some take aways. Had very relaxing evening with Fran and Anja - makes a bit of a change from the normal madness….. but it was just what I needed.
The big 38 then for me today, wonder if will feel my age this year, or will I always feel 21 ?
Anja and Fran calls me “old man” now, and that scares me bit. I can remember when my dad turned 40, and all of a sudden I am close to 40 …..
